We are excited to announce that Origin by Ocean is one of the initial partners in Seaweed for Europe, a coalition to accelerate the sustainable seaweed industry in Europe.
The Seaweed for Europe Coalition is now live, with support from the SUN Foundation and SYSTEMIQ. From the start, its 30 members from around Europe will include industry innovators, investors and thought leaders.
The Seaweed for Europe Coalition will drive systematic innovation, create awareness among high-level policy and business decision-makers, and mobilise investments into the industry.
We as a member of the sustainable seaweed-based industry see that we can achieve great things by combining efforts and resources. We are working towards:
- protecting our environment by restoring marine environments and addressing climate change
- boosting a resilient Green Recovery by creating economic growth and fostering innovation
- creating social security by providing good jobs.
